Nominations are open for the 16th Annual Las Vegas Jewel Awards – A Black & White Affair.  The Nomination period is from July 31, to August 11, 2023.  Metrics must be returned by September 1, 2023.  There will be NO EXTENSIONS.

The NVSAA Jewel Awards are the most honored awards given in recognition of superior contributions and exemplary achievements in the multifamily housing industry!

We will be providing the metrics or the requirements to the nominees for submission once they are nominated.  The top 10 finalists in each category will be asked to supply back up financials or letters of recommendation.

LAS VEGAS INDIVIDUAL ACHIEVEMENT AWARDS

FOR ALL AWARDS:

  • You must be in this position for one (1) year and currently employed to qualify for any award.
  • Provide 12 consecutive months of metrics and history of your performance (depending on category criteria).
  • Nominee must be a member in good standing of NVSAA.

Regional Manager of the Year

The winning Regional Manager must be a member of NVSAA in good standing. Submissions will be judged on the following metrics listed below.

You must be in this position for one (1) year and currently employed in this position to qualify. You can be at multiple properties during the time frame noted above.

Your Metrics need to be from the current Portfolio you are managing.

Best New Community Design

This award recognizes the Developer/Owner/Management Team who implemented the best new community design built in 2022-2023.  The following is taken into consideration: innovation, floor plan functionality, interior apartment features, site layout, architecture, signage, curb appeal, landscape design, level of completion, maintenance and impact on the surrounding community.  The winner must be a member of NVSAA in good standing.

Best Renovated Community Design

This award recognizes the Developer/Owner/Management Team who implemented the best renovated community design initiated after January 1, 2022 with a minimum investment of $5,000 per unit.  In addition, before and after photos are required to be submitted, once you receive your nomination notification.  The following is taken into consideration: innovation, age of the property, interior apartment upgrades and features, construction size and scope, architectural design, amenities, landscape design, level of completion, maintenance and impact on the surrounding community.  The winner must be a member of NVSAA in good standing.

Property Management Company of the Year

The winning PMC must be a member of NVSAA in good standing.  Submissions will be judged on the following metrics listed below.

  • PORTFOLIO INCOME GROWTH % Trend – Total Revenue

PMC must have 51% of entire Nevada portfolio registered as members of the NVSAA.
