COMMUNITY OUTREACH RESOURCES
Our industry provides a primary need – housing. It takes a village to manage and maintain our apartment communities. We are not just units, we are people. An industry who spends thousands of dollars and hundreds of hours contributing to the needs of their community in different areas of their cities.
The following resources are available to our members to assist them in identifying additional opportunities to give back. The databases cover the entire state of Nevada and can search by cause. The opportunities are endless!
- Nevada Volunteers (the Governor’s resource for volunteerism) – http://nevadavolunteers.org
- Volunteer Match – https://www.volunteermatch.org/search/?l=Nevada,%20USA
We encourage our members to report their outreach efforts to NVSAA using the following Impact Form. All outreach efforts will be recognized at our annual Jewel Awards Galas. In 2020, we will be developing criteria for members to be nominated for an Impact Award at the annual galas. Stay tuned for more details!
