
NVSAA’S LEGISLATIVE ACTION FUND & WHY IT’S IMPORTANT
LAF stands for the Legislative Action Fund. LAF supports our industry in preparation for and during legislative years to help advocate and lobby for good legislation that supports multifamily rental housing. Often, we must concentrate on fighting bad legislation that threatens both rental housing providers and their residents.
Every dollar contributed to LAF goes directly to association activities including but not limited to lobbying, advocacy, campaigns, and member/public education on legislative & regulatory issues.
NVSAA members play a crucial role in protecting the industry’s bottom line by investing in LAF. Non-members can contribute too!
If you do not protect your industry, who will? NVSAA absolutely CANNOT continue our important legislative activities without your contributions.

STRENGTHEN THE NEVADA ECONOMY
Research shows that demand for apartments is on the rise.
Nevada apartments and their residents contribute $33.6B to the state economy annually, supporting 141.7K jobs.
Apartment demand is growing and the industry needs to keep up. However, producing enough new apartments to meet demand requires new development approaches, more incentives and fewer restrictions. Nevada needs to build 8K new apartment homes each year to meet demand. Apartment construction contributes $1.3B to Nevada’s economy annually, creating 5K jobs.
